DISCOVERY
For our youngest campers, your outtrip is coming to camp! For
most of you, it's the first time you will be away from home
for more than one night and your first adventure without mom
and dad.
QUEST
Outtripping is about pushing your limits and going out of your comfort zone. Many of
you are first-time campers so coming to camp and sharing your bedroom for the first
time (with 5 other people!!) can be the step out of your comfort zone.
There are lots of
opportunities for exploring creation and working with your cabin group, learning through
challenge, discussion, teamwork and outdoor skills.
Breakaway
A night under the stars listening to the rustling breeze,
chirping crickets and the gentle sound of...your cabinmate
snoring next to you! Ohh, the delights of an overnight in
the great outdoors at Pioneer Lodge! Plus, you'll enjoy exploring
the land, eating some delicious treats and perhaps even the
glorious colors of an Alberta sunrise!
Plunge
A typical outtrip experience at Plunge is hard to describe since every year the Plunge Program Team hatches a new plan! You may encounter a wide open field, a three-legged race, a bowl of ice cream or a mountain peak on your Plunge outtrip. But whatever the adventure might be, it's sure to include plenty of laughter and challenge. Just be sure to save some energy for all the stories you'll be telling afterwards! |
