Can
I register by phone?
No. Campers usually register using our secure online
registration system. If you do not wish to
use online registration, we can send out an application
form. We require signed documents to process registration.
Do
I have to pay by Visa or MasterCard to register online?
No. You have two options when registering online: Visa
or Mastercard or you can mail in a cheque. Paying
by cheque will delay the processing of your camp application
since registration is not "secured" until
full payment is received.
Does
Pioneer Ranch Camps accept alternate payment plans?
Alternate payment option is only applicable if you are
applying for bursary.
What
is spending money used for?
Pioneer operates a "tuck
shop" where campers can purchase a limited
amount of candy and pop, as well as camp t-shirts, hoodies,
baseball caps, toques, water bottles, Bibles, etc. Clothing
prices range from $15-$25 for t-shirts to about $45
for hoodies.
Spending money amounts are optional, but we suggest
$20 to $30 per camper for a one week camp. A smaller
amount would be adequate, of course, if your child does
not want to purchase an article of clothing.
We ask that parents include payment for spending money
with the camper's registration as it helps us to this
detail taken care of before the very busy 1st day of
camp! Spending money is credited to a "tuck account"
for you child, deductions are made when your child makes
a purchase and any unspent amount is transferred to
our bursary program unless otherwise specified.
What
is Pioneer Ranch Camps refund policy?
If cancellation is made:
- Prior to one month before the start
of camp, you will receive a full refund less $100.00.
- Less than one month before the
start of camp, you will receive a 50% refund of the
camp fee.
- Less than one week before the start
of camp, there will be no refund of the camp fee.
No refunds will be made for dismissals due to disciplinary
action, late arrivals or early departures.
What
chance does my child have of making it in if they're
on the wait list?
We have lots of movement on our waitlist every year,
but it's hard to say exactly what your chances are because
it's completely dependant on something happening to
one of the 80+ families who have their child registered
for camp. We certainly have many campers who make it
in after being on the waitlist. |
