*Note: Bursaries are given to help cover the cost of the camp fee only. Our bursary funds are limited. Please request the smallest amount possible so that we can help many campers attend camp. Thank you!

D. BURSARY INFORMATION
Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need. Our normal procedure is to provide a bursary of not more than half of the camp fee. Our hope is that the bursary program will help to ensure that summer camp is financially viable for every child. With this in mind, please ask for the smallest amount of bursary money so that the greatest number of campers can benefit from this program. In order to hold a spot for your son/daughter until bursaries can be processed, the camp application form with 50% of the camp fee needs to accompany this bursary application form. Once bursary money is in place, bursary applications will be processed and notices sent out. This usually happens the second or third week of June. Bursary recipients will be asked to write a note of appreciation during their summer camp to our bursary fund donors. Notes from the campers are particularly useful in reporting to those donating to our camp bursary fund. Names will be kept confidential if so desired. I/We make application for a bursary as indicated on this form. I/We realize that bursaries are subject to funds available and that awards will be made in an equitable fashion at the discretion of the General Camps Director and Office Manager.
