Pioneer Ranch Camps has two facilities:

1. Pioneer Lodge, Sundre, AB
2. Pioneer Ranch, Rocky Mountain House, AB

Pioneer Ranch Camps will work with you to arrange suitable accommodations for your group.

Activities

• Many Activities. Pioneer Ranch camps offers a multitude of recreational activities. Most activities allow up to 21 participants at a time.
  
  
• Flexible Schedules. Schedules are flexible to accommodate your plans. Pioneer Ranch Camps will work with you to arrange your schedule before your arrival.
  
  
• Specific curriculum and activities taught by school staff / chaperones band clinicians, French workshops, pony leadership training seminars, pond study, etc.) may be incorporated into the schedule.
  
  
• Outdoor School. We have a detailed activity program matched to the Alberta science curriculum for Grades 5 and 6, with additional material for Social Studies. Please call our office for details.
  
  
• Safe. Pioneer adheres to the safey standards set by the Alberta Camping Association and Christian Camping International. See also Associations & Memberships.
  
  
• Qualified Staff. All year round site staff have current first aid training with at least a standard level. All staff (paid & volunteer) have a police check (current in the last 3 years) on file. See also Safety Policies.
  
  
• School Board Approval. We have a Master Agreement with the Calgary Board of Education and are on their B1 approved list of off-site service providers.

RATES & discounts

• Chaperones
  Pioneer Ranch Camps offers a special rate for chaperones to help make your school trip more affordable: one chaperone for every 7 students is free!
  
  
• Kitchen Helpers
  Schools also receive a discount if they choose to bring 1 kitchen helper for every 30 students.
